am I "the one" for you?
Let’s be real for a sec: working with a celebrant is personal.
So it matters that we click — that we get each other, that you feel safe being totally yourselves, and that it all just feels easy and natural.
If you’re thinking, “We just want a ceremony that feels like us — emotional, relaxed and deeply meaningful (and maybe a bit funny too),” then you’re in the right place.
You’ll love working with me if...
- The part you’re most excited about on your wedding day is the ceremony
and having your family and friends there to witness the moment you promise forever to each other.
- You want your ceremony to feel warm, relaxed and engaging
– like you’re huddled around a campfire, swapping feel-good stories and feeling immersed in the moment.
- You care more about meaning over tradition and how things feel over how things look.
You’d take heartfelt vows over pristine chair covers any day.
- You’re intentional, emotionally aware, maybe a little bit woo
— and you love doing things your own way. No rules, no “shoulds”. You’re just following your heart.
- You’re not just planning a wedding.
You’re marking an unforgettable moment in your story. And you want to slow down enough to actually feel it.
- You love the idea of a ceremony that’s grounded in your values, full of symbolic meaning, and a bit unexpected.
In a good way.
- You’re not interested in a performer or a stranger with a script.
You want someone who feels like a friend — who gets you, guides you, and helps you feel totally present on the day.
- You’re up for connecting, chatting, voice-noting, and maybe crying a little during the process.
Me too.
We might not be a good match if...
- You’re looking for someone to “just say a few words” and keep it short.
My ceremonies are 30–45 minutes, give or take, and crafted with serious love and care. It literally takes me days not hours to write it!
- You’re after something super traditional, religious or formal.
I’m not religious. But if I had to call myself something, it’d be ‘spiritual’. Having said that, I am always up for including rituals or traditions that mean something to you.
- You’d prefer to keep things transactional and stick to email.
Don’t worry, I’ll handle the formal stuff like contracts over email, and keep your wedding planner in the loop. But we’ll also have Zoom chats, WhatsApp check-ins, and a shared Google folder for your questionnaires and all the other creative bits around your ceremony.
- You’re mainly focused on finding the cheapest option.
Totally get it — but this is deeply personal, handcrafted work and if budget is your top priority, I’m not the best fit.
This is about trust, connection and co-creating something unforgettable.
So if you’ve made it this far and your heart’s shouting, “He’s the one!” then…
