A wedding planner asked me one day over coffee, “have you ever thought about being a celebrant?” I hadn’t. And thought to myself “I’m not a priest.” 

But it turns out you don’t have to be. You just have to love people, be a good storyteller and enjoy creating personal and meaningful celebrations. Tick, tick and tick! 

Before I knew it, I was doing an elopement, with an Australian couple, up in the Tramuntana mountains in Mallorca and I was instantly hooked! 

I don’t just love the ceremonies, but the whole journey; from meeting you both online for the first time to celebrating with you once you’re married. And all the months in between, where we spend time together. We have several calls, WhatsApp exchanges and, when you happen to be in North West England I’d love to grab a coffee together. 

It’s important to me that I get to know you both really well, so I can craft a super personal ceremony that reflects you individually and as a couple. And a perfectly-worded ceremony needs perfect delivery. My style is a cocktail of calmness, warmth and a double-shot of humour!

I put a lot of heart and soul into my ceremonies and into building our relationship to the point where many of ‘my’ couples tell me it felt like they were married by a friend and not just a celebrant.
