From the second I met Tony from KLS Wedding Films, he was all smiles and handshakes. Within five minutes, he’d told me I’ve got a great celebrant voice — and, yeah, that obviously won him some instant brownie points. But the real magic came as I watched him work.

We were at Son Marroig, the kind of dreamy Mallorca wedding venue that literally looks like a postcard. As I was checking out the ceremony space, Tony was already setting up for a really specific shot the bride had asked for. He was barefoot, carefully stepping around a pristine white carpet laid out for the ceremony. That little detail really stuck with me. It was such a small but thoughtful gesture — and it said a lot about the kind of guy he is.

But the moment that really blew me away was when Tony pulled out this massive pole with a tiny video camera attached to the end. Turns out, he hadn’t been able to get a drone licence for the area, so he’d come up with this makeshift solution instead. And honestly? It was genius. It showed me how far he’s willing to go to get those golden shots, even when things don’t go according to plan. That level of commitment and creativity? That’s the kind of person you want capturing one of the biggest days of your life.

Later, as the sun was setting and the sky was doing that ridiculous, fiery orange thing Mallorca is famous for, I was off in my own little world, filming a quick behind-the-scenes clip of the view. Suddenly, I hear Tony behind me: “Don’t stop! Keep doing what you’re doing!” Before I knew it, he was filming me filming the sunset. I honestly thought it was just a bit of a laugh, but then the next day, he posted the clip to Instagram and it looked like a scene from a movie. Slow motion, epic music, the whole shebang. And he even gave me a shout-out.

That’s Tony. Super talented, totally chill, and genuinely generous with his skills. Considering how insanely good he is at what he does, he’s also incredibly humble. The guy clearly loves his work, and it shows in every shot he takes.
